#117. Three black pieces in a row? Haha. I don't own or wear anything black myself (doesn't agree with my colouring) but loads of people do. And they love it! The black pieces of The Empress Dowager's New Jewels always get sold first so I thought what's the harm of making one more.

From another piece of textile designed by Cilla Ramnek from her Saralisa series for Ikea.

~ Each piece is a one-off so no two pieces of The Empress Dowager's New Jewels are the same
~ The smaller "gems" measure 3cm in diameter and the larger ones are 4.5cm
~ From the first "gem" on the left to the last one on the right: 30cm
~ Length of ribbon-tie: approximately 40cm on each side (to allow for the wearing of your New Jewels at various lengths
