I have quite a bit of them in a variety of colours (they are oh-so-nice-to-touch!) but very little time to make a piece of The Empress Dowager's New Jewels out of each and every one of them - currently distracted by the lot of new printed fabric that I've just got my grubby paws on (which you'll see some time this week!)

Anyway, I think everyone needs at least a piece of one-tone necklace in their bauble box. Can't be loud and colourful all the time, right?

~ Each piece is a one-off - no two pieces of The Empress Dowager's New Jewels are the same
~ The smallest "gem" measures 1.5cm in diameter, the next one up is 3cm, followed by 4.5cm and 6.5cm for the largest
~ From the first "gem" on the left to the last one on the right: 43cm
~ Length of ribbon-tie: 39cm on each side (to allow for the wearing of your "jewels" at varying lengths)
